Scope and content
File of photographs taken mostly at the O'Shaughnessy family home, and featuring Mary [Mamie] O'Shaughnessy, their 3 daughters, and the family's dogs. A Scottish terrier features in most of the photographs.
The photographs are black and white, and have been taken mostly outside in the garden, in the sunshine.
The photographs date from mostly around 1940, so in the years following the death of M M O'Shaughnessy.
Specified locations include Mill Valley, California, and Treasure Island, San Francisco, but they appear mostly to have been taken in the O'Shaughnessy family home.
Digital File see p135 --> archive --> OCR --> Box 4 --> Photographs --> 002 to 024, 59, 65 and 74. Photograph of a group of women, mostly in black and/or evening wear, seated at a function. (I think Mary O'Shaughnessy is in the front right).
