| Description | Bound volume containing minutes of the meetings of the Taibhdhearc directors. They are mainly answering correspondence. Includes proposal by an tOllamh Ó Murchú for no tour of the Gaeltacht one year as the University Dramatic Society are putting together a tour and the Taibhdhearc actors are very busy (21 Nov 1964). Also following discussion on how to commemorate the Easter Rising and deciding that there was not enough time to stage a play, they decide to organise a concert instead (17 Dec 1965). Also a special meeting is held with the Manager, Director and Actors in relation to the poor communications between the different groups. Among the items discussed is the quality of the Irish as well as the quality of the sets. There are also complaints that the scripts for productions are not available to the producer. They agree to meet again to discuss the issues raised at the meeting (20 Oct 1967) [in Irish]. |
