DescriptionBound volume containing minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors for
Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe, giving attendance and decisions agreed. Includes resignation of Walter Macken from his position as director, and apologising to the Board that the papers got wind of it before he could tell them (17 December 1947). Also note of Commandant Ó Conchubair's disagreement with the idea of working without a producer until the end of the season, although the Board agree with this policy (17 January 1948). Also the Board agree to write to Joseph Tomelty seeking the manuscript of "All Soul's Night" (20 April 1950). Also note of conditions under which the Board ask Phionnsias Mac Diarmada and Siubhán Nic Cionnaith to produce "San Siubhán" (7 Ocotber 1950). Also the Board decide on £70 expenses for Ian Priestly-Mitchell, who is coming to produce "San Siubhán". Also note of the decision of the Board to appoint Roibeárd Ó Longaigh as producer at an Taibhdhearc (15 December 1951).
