Administrative History | Dr. Micheál Rynne was a Captain in the Dublin Brigade, Irish Republican Army during the War of Independence where he participated in the War of Independence. He was also active in the Civil War, where he participated in the bombardment of the Four Courts. He pursued his legal studies during the 1920s, at the end of which he received a doctorate, before returning to the family business in Limerick in 1929. Following his marriage in 1931 he returned to Dublin, where he worked as a legal adviser in the Department of External Affairs. |
